Company president Denis O’Regan is an artist first. For thirty years he has worked as an artisan, designer, and project manager. In 1985 he began working in pyrotechnics in New Orleans. In 1989 he began working for an internationally renowned French fireworks company whose client list dates back to King Louis XV. There, Denis learned pyro-musical choreography and field technique on such prestigious productions as Longwood Gardens - Fireworks and Fountains, Handel's Royal Fireworks Suite at The National Center for the Performing Arts at Wolf Trap Farm Park, and Colonial Williamsburg Grand Illumination. Well grounded in the fundamentals of design and production technique, his talents as coordinator, designer, choreographer and pyrotechnician insure first quality productions.

Over the last eight years Denis has developed a loyal client base in the Northeast. During that time, Denis did creative and technical work in London, Canada and the Caribbean. In the states, he produced pyrotechnics at the ’96 Republican National Convention, Presidential and Gubernatorial Inaugural Balls, numerous Fortune Five Hundred companies, The National Fire Chiefs Convention, mall openings, innumerable corporate meetings, and annual pyromusical productions at the prestigious New Jersey Performing Arts Center.

In recent years, Fireworks Concepts has produced shows in New Orleans, Atlanta, Las Vegas, Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Arizona, South Dakota, and Wisconsin.
